Read this before shopping, especially the label checks.
Kitchen tips
- Dice the potatoes Friday night and keep them in a bowl of water in the fridge, so Saturday breakfast goes fast.
- Cook extra beef bacon Friday morning and crumble it for the Cobb salad at lunch.
- The cabin has one kitchen's worth of fridge space for 32 people. Bring coolers and ice, and consider a second run for Saturday's fresh items.
- The cabin has a Keurig: one cup at a time, about a minute each. Start brewing early on Saturday and Sunday mornings so the line doesn't back up.
- Log every receipt in the EC Retreat Food Budget sheet.
